Omyly v diagnostice myokarditidy

Myokarditidy jsou většinou primárně infekční etiologie, ve druhé fázi se jedná o autoimunní onemocnění. Diagnóza myokarditidy je velmi obtížná, endomyokardiální biopsie je diagnostická pouze při pozitivním nálezu. Autoři navrhují diagnostické schéma sestávající ze 4 kroků: diagnóza zánětu obecně, průkaz postižení srdce, důkaz, že zánětlivé onemocnění postihuje srdeční sval a etiologickou diagnostiku. Nejčastější chybou v diagnostice myokarditidy je fakt, že se na ni nemyslí nebo není vyšetření systematické.
