Předložený článek se zabývá současnými možnostmi řešení běžných typů chudokrevnosti v ambulantní praxi. Úspěšná terapie je i v těchto podmínkách možná, jejím nezbytným předpokladem však je stanovení pokud možno přesné diagnózy. Jsou vyjmenovány jednotlivé terapeutické postupy a je upozorněno na hlavní úskalí v rozpoznávání choroby a následné léčbě.

The management of the anaemic syndrome in general practice

This paper deals with the current possibilities in the management of the more common types of anaemia encountered in general practice. A successful therapy could be implemented by a general practitioner, under the condition that the proper diagnosis has been established before. The particular therapeutic options available are described and some possible pitfalls in the diagnostic decisions and in the subsequent care are pointed out.
