Ischemická choroba periferních tepen znamená sníľení prokrvení periferních tkání, způsobené zúľením a uzávěry periferních tepen. U diabetiků se často kombinuje přítomnost postiľení periferních tepen s postiľením nervů a mikrocirkulace, často se vznikem tkáňového defektu. Poruchu periferního prokrvení lze objektivizovat pomocí prstové fotopletysmografie. Není-li moľno zlepąit periferní prokrvení revaskularizačním výkonem, je indikována infúzní léčba prostaglandiny, zejména prostaglandinem E1. V naąí studii jsme prokázali efekt léčby alprostadilem na zlepąení parametrů periferního prokrvení.

Diabetic foot syndrome of ischaemic aetiology and an efficacy of alprostadil treatment

Peripheral arterial disease means decreased perfusion of peripheral tissues caused by narrowing and obstruction of peripheral arteries. Peripheral arterial disorders in diabetic patients are often combined with an affection of nerves and microcirculation, often with an occurrence of tissue defect. Disorders of peripheral circulation can be objectified by means of digital photopletysmography. When a revascularization is not able to improve peripheral circulation an infusion therapy with prostaglandins, prostaglandin E1 especially, is indicated. We have proved an efficacy of alprostadil treatment on improvement of peripheral circulation parameters in our study.
