Dne 24. října 2006 se konala v kongresovém zařízení Regionálního centra Olomouc v pořadí již 6. pracovní konference III. interní kliniky, tentokrát na téma aktuální endokrinologie. Konference byla organizovaná ve spolupráci se Spolkem lékařů ČLS JEP v Olomouci, pod záštitou rektora UP v Olomouci prof. RNDr. Lubomíra Dvořáka, CSc., děkana LF UP prof. MUDr. Zdeňka Koláře, CSc. a ředitele FN Olomouc MUDr. Radomíra Maráčka.
