Jak předejít pálení žáhy a jak ji léčit

Pálení žáhy je typický projev refluxní nemoci jícnu. Často se vyskytuje ve vazbě na určité situace a jídla. Ve většině případů je průběh refluxní nemoci jícnu protrahovaný a vyžadující dlouhodobou léčbu. Dominantní úlohu ve farmakoterapii mají inhibitory protonové pumpy. Úprava stravovacích návyků a režimová opatření podporují dlouhodobou kontrolu onemocnění a redukci potřebné medikace.
