Menstrual toxic shock syndrome

Toxic shock syndrome (TSS) is an acute life-threatening illness most commonly precipitated by stafyloccal toxic shock toxin. Two forms
are recognized: menstrual and non menstrual TSS. The paper deals with ethiology, pathogenesis, clinical presentation and therapy of
TSS folllowed by a case report of the menstrual form.
