Patient with pacemaker and implantable cardioverter - defibrillator - things to think about

Due to new indications the number of patients with implanted pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators is increasing.

Recommendations for follow-up of patients with implanted active cardiologic devices for practicioners and ambulantory physicians

are reviewed.
