Basic Life Support (BLS) is a set of simple and easy-to-learn procedures that are performed to rapidly restore spontaneous blood circulation

without using special devices. BLS is directly followed by Advanced Life Support (ALS) that involves further procedures, pharmacotherapy,

and the use of special devices. In general, clinical signs of all acute life-threatening diseases are very similar and, regardless

of the causative factor, are manifested by the failure of vital functions that include consciousness, respiration, and blood circulation.

Keywords: Key word: basic life support, advanced life support, automated external defibrillator, anaphylaxis.
