V tomto článku podáváme zkrácený přehled léčebné rehabilitace u Parkinsonovy nemoci. V naší republice byla donedávna tato metoda v léčbě parkinsonizmu lékaři opomíjena a podceňována, ale zejména v devadesátých letech 20. století se stává součástí léčby hlavně v centrech pro extrapyramidová onemocnění. Rehabilitační léčba tvoří spolu s farmakologickou terapií součást komplexní terapie Parkinsonovy nemoci. Navíc rehabilitační léčba může být účinná při zvládání některých obtíží v aktivitách všedního života, kde farmakoterapie má omezený efekt nebo selhává. V tomto příspěvku se zabýváme zejména fyzioterapií, rehabilitací řeči, ergoterapií, arteterapií, balneoterapií. Zmiňujeme se i o důležitosti edukace pacientů a jejich pečovatelů. V článku předkládáme také naše vlastní zkušenosti, zejména se skupinovým cvičením parkinsoniků, které probíhá v rámci aktivit pacientské organizace Společnosti Parkinson.
